quotes from the grand maté cup of life

mmm

...which stands for manitou mate memory.

I could have used some 'o that green stuff at work yesterday. I forgot how fat and unhealthy everyone is in Indiana. On the upside, it's done great things for my self esteem. I am one of the 5 thinnest people at my work, out of 70 people. And ya'll know what I look like.
*wink*

So anyway, nobody knew what I was talking about. That happens a lot out here. Mention mate, organic, or tofu, and people look at you like you've grown a second head. Or a third nipple. Whichever is more interesting. But I'm trying to buck the system. And the other day, I saw a Honda with a roof rack and a colorado lisence plate. And I honked.

Lastly, I checked out my old homes on google earth, and my car is officially parked at 6 Spencer Ave AND 832 Emerson. Hopefully, on the net at least, they will be forever.

So I remember quite an extended conversation regarding piano benches and Amazon warriors. The Elizabethan Puerto Rico mythos is forever endebted to you Liza.

missing the singing

you know, guys, I had a serious bout of missing manitou last night. I mean, serious. like, I wanted to get up off my mattress, and pass the bathroom with the big ole tub inside and walk down my steps to the mate, and in my dream it was summer. it was warm. and I could sit outside on the porch swing and read harry potter and eat cherries until I absolutely hated them. one day in my life, when we are all wealthy and have less noteriety than we should, I will buy a house in manitou.

and I will still be interested in draco.

I am drinking Mate Factor Mate is fine AM and thinking about....what else....Manitou. That I and I saw that one of L's interests in still Draco, which takes me back to wonderful things. I could do with a porch swing with a nice mountain view right about now.
